What Causes Pain And Red Blisters On The Right Hand?
Hii, I had work last night I wore vinyl gloves and use some kind of pink cleaner I use to clean tables. I started to feel really sore in my right hand that I use for dusting, now I see red blisters, it feels like it is burning, and piercing knives, I see that it is swollen and it is extremely sore. I hardly ever use vinyl gloves cause I am not sure if I am allergic to it or not. I normally wear latex free purple gloves. I am not sure if it is the gloves or not. My left hand is fine, it is just my right hand. I am quite concerned about it so I was just searching for clues what it could be and I came across this site, so I thought I should at least give it a try.
It looks like you have sensitive skin. Red sores and blisters are due to allergy. Wash the affected area with luke warm water & apply hydrocortisone cream locally, you can also apply calamine lotion.
Take non-sedating antihistamines (Levocetirizine), one tablet twice daily for 5-7 days. For pain take acetaminophen (Tylenol) after consultation of a PCP in ER.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
