while pulling anchor on a yacht that am employed on, it was a situation where i had to keep one foot on the anchor foot button on deck , in order to retrieve the anchor, it was rough out and i was off balance and bit while doing this. i felt a twinge in my neck and it felt as if it went into my head. this happened saturday. Right now its extremely soar , but the pain covers the back of the neck on the left side and the top of the head
It might be due to minor contusion or conditions like cervical spondylitis. As a first line management you can apply ice packs and take analgesics like Aceclofenac or Tramadol for pain relief. If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopedics and get an MRI neck done.
