Hey. For a few days now, the top of my throat has been soar. Before the pain surfaced, a small bump had developed on the right side of the back of my throat. That alone was a bit painful. Now I have a very stuffed up nose, and it s proven to be a difficult task to blow my nose due to said throat pains. It is also difficult to swallow. Please help.
HI. Thanks for your query and an elucidate history. The lump you said is called a lymphoid hyperplasia and must have a spot of pus in it hence became painful. The URTI make your nose to get blocked.
I would suggest you the following in such a situation: - Consult an ENT to get a proper ENT endoscopy and clinical evaluation, to have tests if He feels so and to get a prescription based antibiotic, anti-inflammatory and supportive medicines including nasal decongestant drops. take small amounts of water frequently, this has the best cleaning effects.
This will help you get cured fast;but remember to complete the course of 1 to 3 weeks.
