What Causes Pain And Soreness Inside The Cheek And At The Bottom Of Lips?

I have sores and pain in the inside of my cheek and bottom lips. They have been there for over a week and are becoming increasingly more painful. I've never had them before, and they seemed to start after my rotten and broken top wisdom tooth began hurting. But the tooth stopped hurting and now I'm left with these sores.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain sores inside the cheek and inner lower lip seems to be most probably due to formation of Canker Sores while can also be due to Viral infection..
If you have taken antibiotic for wisdom tooth infection it can be a side effect or allergic reaction to the medications..
I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated..
A clinical examination is generally sufficient but can also advise Oral swab culture and blood tests for confirmation...
As of now you can take anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen..
Gargle with numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine..
Take a Vitamin B complex tablet daily..
Gargle with 1:1 solution of benadryl and milk of magnesia..
Suck ice..
Take soft bland diet..
Drink plenty of water and do warm saline gargles..
