What Causes Pain And Spasms In The Abdomen On The Left Side?

I am having severe pain with spasms on my left side for 9 days. I went to the emergency room 3 times now. All i get are muscle relaxents and I also was tested with a urine test . Now they have me on a pill for a urinary infection. They did xrays and all I was told all they saw was some arthritis. It is painful bending and getting off a chair. What should I do now.
