What Causes Pain And Stiffness In Leg?

For 2 weeks I have been having upper leftleg pain. Doesn t seem to b muscular. However, when I walk, or slightly turn my leg to change direction, I have to keep the leg stiff due to severe pain. I take an Aleve with food, which seems to help for a short time. 4 -6 hrs later I take 2 extra strenghtTylenol. Sleep ok at night, but when I get up during the night, I m having same problem. Don t know if an orthopedic Dr. Is here I should go,

There is lack of sufficient history as to history of trauma, swelling in the leg, whether joint is involved or entire lower limb. Please consult an orthopedic surgeon as the cause could be involving bones or muscular or neurological or vascular which needs to be ascertained using X ray, MRI or Doppler depending on the clinical suspicion following examination.
