What Causes Pain And Stiffness In The Bone Joints?
My bones/joints have been aching for months . When I wake up or sit for awhile I m very stiff all over. My hair recently has been coming out with evry hair brushing and washing, its very thin. I ve seen a doctor and had my thyroid checked and everything is fine yet no releif. I have horrible insurance and all the test my internist wants to do, I can t afford. Not sure what to do next?
As you stated, additional testing would be needed unfortunately to determine the exact cause of your symptoms.
Complete blood count and an autoimmune screen would be helpful to determine the cause of your symptoms. An autoimmune screen would check for conditions such as RA, Lupus, scleroderma etc.
Since testing is not possible at this time then pain management would be the only option. Using regular pain medication and making sure to stay well hydrated, may help with pain relief.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Michelle Gibson James, General & Family Physician
