What Causes Pain And Stiffness In The Right Shoulder?

HELLO ,,My dad is 75 years old. Just in the last three months he has started.... 1. Right shoulder....very stiff can hardly move it....very painful. 2. Left shoulder ....started to be stiff and painful. 3. Given cordizone shot right shoulder....much better. 4. Left and right behind the knees ...very sore and painful ..trouble walking. 5.Blacked out twice. 6. Right tip of thumb....has gone num. 7. Done blood work, urine, etc. ....has an infection inside body somewhere? Dr. doesn t know where. 8. This morning both hands a num neck is stiff.

Good afternoon. I have read your father's history. If he has infection and cause is not known , then he should do full workup for infections like blood cultures, urine culture , stool culture, chest Xray, ESR, C-reactive protein , spinal fluid examination ( to rule out meningitis) along with CT brain and also autoimmune markers. He has history of neck stiffness and blackout two times , this could be due to meningitis but other infection cannot be ruled out.
can you tell me about his conscious level? any medication he is on? has he is started antibiotic medicines?
