Hello,

Based on the description of symptoms, it appears that you could be having cervical spasm due to sprain in the neck.

Kindly do the following to overcome the same.
1. Take medication containing Diclofenac with Chloroxazone twice daily after food.
2. Apply Diclofenac containing analgesic gel over the affected area as a thin layer. Do not rub or massage.
3. Give hot fomentation over the affected region thrice daily.

In case the spasm and symptoms does not subside by 3 days, you need to take ultrasound massage therapy and neck strengthening exercises by consulting Physiotherapist.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ashakiran S,
