Hi! A bit of an odd one - I have noticed over the last few days that my vagina (more the inner folds of the labia) sting and are painful. After closer inspection it appears that the skin has almost SPLIT. Not dramatically - but it would explain the stinging sensation. It s like the inner skin which obviously is always moist, is torn in two straight lines down either side. The skin on the outside of the labia is slightly flaky and red too. I recently bleached the shower to clean it and showered soon after. Is it possible that bleach from my hands could have cause this reaction? I haven t been to a doctor yet because it s only been about 5 days and I was on my period beforehand so I wanted to see if it would clear up. Unfortunately it became worse. Do you have any advice?
