What Causes Pain And Swelling Around The Anus?

I think i have anal fissure or anal abscess i dont know exactly what it is..i have been suffering from this problem since last year..i have had small swelling near my anus and was very painful..but now the swelling is gone and the pain is also gone except small wart like thing which itches sometimes..and nowdays i have yellowish slippry mucus coming out of my anus..plz tell what cud be the problem now..and how to deal with it

You could be having chronic anal fissure. However since you have yellowish mucus coming out, there is a chance that you could be having a fistula in ano. This would require surgical management. You may please get examined by a General Surgeon for diagnosis and management.
