What Causes Pain And Swelling Around The Lower Tooth?
I am having bad very bad pain in my last lest lower tooth with some swelling! Feel pain and some high inflammation at that part ! Find relief in normal water and feel more pain if have some thing hot. Already taken clavam 625 with Keterole dt. No relief so far. My problem is very old and now facing trouble going to dr. Even
It looks like either your tooth is decayed and there is abscess formation or the other possibility is that there is inflammation of the gum flap over the wisdom tooth leading to Pericoronitis. As it is an old problem it means you have a relapse and in that case only antibiotics and painkillers ls not sufficient. You should get an x ray of tooth done and if there is decay then root canal treatment or extraction of tooth if it is not in position to be saved should be done.. If it is a wisdom tooth and the gum flap is inflamed then removal of the wisdom tooth is the best option for permanent resolution.. For now you should continue taking the above advised medication and also add Ibuprofen to reduce inflammation. Do cool compresses over the cheek and do warm saline gargles..
