What Causes Pain And Swelling Behind Ears Extending To Head?
Dear Sir My daughter is 17 year old she is having pain behind ears and it swells also during pain. Some times it extends to head especially nerve above ears. She is having this problem since last two years. MRI was done it is also clear. Kindly suggest Regards Kavita

I really appreciate your concern, if there is no ear pathology, and guess it that this must have been tested for the same, and MRI is unremarkable then it is could be due to trigeminal neuralgia, on tentative basis this can be treated with "Carbamazepine 200 mg" once in day, hope this information helps, take care.
