What Causes Pain And Swelling In Chest Area?
Hello doctor,I am 33 year old male.I am having pain in ribs areas of chest since last 2 years. I also feel pain just below the chest this may be called diafram area.pain is continues every time but intensity of pain is low.sometime it increases if I drink very cold water or if I kept in air conditioned environment for a long time.sometimes I fell swelling in chest area also.if pain increases hot water bottle gives me relief. I have done the following test and all are normal. Pls advice me what is this what to do next.test done are, x ray chest pa view, thyroid test, HB, TLC, Dlc,platelets, anti hcv,HBs Ag, LFT, urea, creatirene.

I really appreciate your concern, if all the concern test are unremarkable then this is nothing to worry and in my opinion such pain could be due to hyperacidity and this can be treated with "Tab Omeprazole 40 mg and Domperidone 30 mg" once in day at evening time, avoid coffee, alcohol, spicy food, smoking prior to bed, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
