What Causes Pain And Swelling In Coccyx Bone Inspite Of Taking Nabumetone?
Thank you...I fell earlier this week on my coccyx bone. The pain peaked today, very uncomfortable. Tonight I did go to a First Care Center in town. Was told the area is swollen, bruised. Gave me Nambetone (spelling) 500 to take twice a day. I also purchased the donut seat. My question is, is there anything OTC that I can take to boost effectiveness. I m really in pain....

There is nothing over the counter to boost effectiveness except for pain medications which is only for pain. Otherwise you just have to let the body go through its natural process of healing. Use the donut cusion always. wait for 3 weeks for pain to settle. If the pain keeps worsening with time or if it doesn't settle by a month pls do go back to your doctor
