General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
It seems that there might be having some tear or injury to ligaments and maniscus or cartilage of knee joint.
There is possibility of having some effusion or hemorrhage in the joint.
This requires complete rest to the part for early repair so they might have full cast.
Continue giving rest to the joint and continue with medicine as anti-inflammatory and antibiotic medicine mostly prescribed by your treating doctor.
Ok and take care.
