What Causes Pain And Swelling In Legs Along With Diverticulitis?

Hi! I was diagnosed a few years back with DVT in the left leg. I am also a diabetic. Recently I have had some skin discoloration in the left leg with a small abrasion. It sort of looks like a burn. The pain associated with the swelling is almost unbearable. Should I seek immediate treatment? Or is there something else I should do to alleviate this pain and treatment to this wound?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Yes you should consult a doctor immediately. He will advice you some blood thinner (loprin, lowplat and lipiget) and anticoagulants (warfarin). This is the treatment of choice.
