General & Family Physician 's  Response
There are a number of problems that can arise from trauma to the testis. While it can be a small injury that may heal over time, formation of a hematoma, an abscess or worse, even testicular torsion can occur. Therefore you are rightly wortied. I would advise you to give him a painkiller like Paracetamol or Ibuprofen and consult a urologist as soon as possible.
