What Causes Pain And Swelling In The Big Toe?

Hey may you awnser my question please?,I have had some pain under my big to all of a sudden and it has grown slightly swollen compared to the other foot. I can walk on it with a bit of pain but bending my toes hurts quite a bit. Any suggestions on what this might be? Thank you.

Hello dear
I understand your concern.
Your symptoms could be due to hairline fracture/haematoma/joint effusion, gout, arthritis.
Exact diagnosis should be made by physical examination, blood tests like ESR, CBC, RA factor, serum uric acid and x ray.
Specific treatment will depend on cause.
Meanwhile take following advises:
Give completely rest
Apply comfortable splint
Warm pad application
Wear comfortable foot wear
Tablet diclofenac plus serritopeptidase
Rise the leg while sleeping by putting pillow
