What Causes Pain And Swelling In The Digastric Muscle?
I believe I have strained or injured my Digastric muscle while singing. The muscle has been swollen and painful for over a month. (It took a while to identify the source of swelling -- a doctor incorrectly diagnosed it as a swollen lymph node due to saliva gland infection.) What can I do to heal from this muscle injury? It seems to be aggravated by daily activities such as talking and chewing/swallowing.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, ideally condition need to be seen by ENT surgeon for correct diagnosis and better opinion till then better to have complete voice rest, condition may needs some investigations hope this information helps.
