What Causes Pain And Swelling In The Eyelid After A Reclast Infusion?
I had an infusion of Zoledronic Acid Generic for Recast Wed. t That evening my left eye became sensitive to touch. Thurs morning my lid was swollen, eye was tearing, I could only look straight ahead (was painful to move eyeball). Currently, the pain isn t as bad when I look to the side but the pain & swelling still persists. Could this be a reactin to infusion or my husband asked if I had a stroke (I m 65). Should I see my eye doctor or GP/

What Causes Pain And Swelling In The Eyelid After A Reclast Infusion?
Hi, This is very unlikely to be a stroke as stroke rarely causes pain or swelling. This may be possible a reaction to the drug or an eye reaction unrelated to that. I would suggest you better see your GP. He would assess you and make a plan ahead. He would refer you to an eye doctor if needed. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care Regards, Dr Mahboob Ur Rahman , General & Family Physician
