Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
i have painful swollen hands every morning. sometimes it wakes me up in the early hours and i cant go back to sleep. i have been tested for arthritis but all tests and x-rays are negative. it is getting worse and i am at my wits end. cold water helps. Drs are not giving me answers other than wear gloves or use tylenol. i was recently diagnosed with CVID but was told this was not part of CVID. I am frustrated and in pain and could really use some answers. Thanks Donna
Your symptoms seem to be related to rheumatoid arthritis.
I suggest you to do a blood test and a rheumatoid factor level to confirm the diagnosis.
I also suggest you to use anti inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen three times a day.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi,
