General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello, my name is Dr.Dorina Gurabardhi. I understand your concerns.
There are many reasons of hip pain but I think in your case the pain is related to hip osteoarthritis.Of course to confirm the diagnose you should do some tests such as X-rays ose ct scan.
Some advices that I can give to you are :
-Rest and joint care
-Use of a cane to take weight off the affected hip
-Nondrug pain relief techniques to control pain
-Losing excess weight
-Exercise
-Medications, including acetaminophen (Tylenol), a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug such as ibuprofen(Advil)
If the pain don't relieve you should see a doctor.
Hope my answer was helpful, if you have any other questions I'll be glad to help, thanks!
