What Causes Pain And Swelling In The Penis?
My 9 year old has always had a large curly vein on the top of his penis. It seems to have straightened out. But today it s swollen on the top significantly. Is this serious and what can I do before taking him to the doctor? It is painful when he pushes on it a little. Looks to be swollen about 1/2 an inch from normal in that area.

there is nothing to panic and worry right now.
for pain you can given him tablet pcm.
don't put any pressure on the affected area and don't manually manipulate it.
loose clothes preferred.
please take him to a pediatric or general surgeon or urologist or urosurgeon , it is best that the area is examined by anyone of them to guide you further.
