I have pain and swelling in my right ankle. At bedtime I cannot lay on my right side because the pain is so severe in my ankle. I just read that an old injury may be the reason. Maybe forty years ago, I did chip my right ankle bone. I couldn t walk, foot/ankle all black and blue. I suffered with it for two weeks then went to the doctor. He said there was nothing he could do but re-break the bone. What do you think?
