What Causes Pain And Swelling In The Right Big Toe?

I went to bed Friday night with no problems. I woke up Saturday morning with pain and swelling in my right big toe. I see no evidence of a bite and did not hit it on anything. The swelling is a little worse and spreading. The toe does not hurt unless I touch it or walk. Ice helps some. Benadryl has not helped. It is not itchy, there are no bumps. Just swelling, slightly red and pain. Could this be a spider bite?

It can be some type of arthritis, gut arthtritis one of them. You have to do some lab analysis (PCR, Erythrosedimention and blood count, FR, Uricemia) and visit a rheumatologist. As for medication you can use some NSAID (as ketoprofen, voltaren, or better Arcoxia, or celebrex daily.
