What Causes Pain And Swelling Near The Navicular Bone?

hey i tripped the other day in gym (over my own foot) and the urgent care said it was an ankle sprain. he said it should be better by monday, the ankle is finr but its my foot that really hurts. its up at the top of my fot almost at the ankle i think its near the navicular bone. but its painful to touch and walk on. and when i hop without my crutches for short distances it hurts (i guess the bouncing?) what do you think is wrong?
