What Causes Pain And Swelling Of Gallbladder?

I think I m having gallbladder issues but I went to ER a week ago and the pain isn t stopping. Sometimes it gets better but doesn t go away. They said my gallbladder was swollen, but nothing that required emergency surgery. Could it be something else?
