What Causes Pain And Swelling On Right Of Throat In A Diabetic Patient?
Hi, I have an ache the right side of my adams apple. When i press it, it is tender and slighty raised. It is where my pulse is. As the day has progressed the pain has spread to my right eye and temple. I am worrying thinking could it be connected to a vein problem? I have never had these symptoms before but i do have 2 frozen shoulders that cause me great pain and was told by the consultant that this is commom in diabetics, which i now neec to get checked. Do you think there could be a connection.Thankyou mg
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have pain and swelling on right of throat in a diabetic patient which could be due to infection of the tonsil or pharynx, ulcer over tonsils, blockage of sinuses and respiratory tract infection. Beside that in diabetic person there is lower immunity , which make person pron to infection. You should take green tea on daily basis in morning. Take nasal sprays on daily basis as it will open up sinuses and blood will not be discharged. Take antibiotics along with anti-inflammatory medications. Visit pulmonologist/ ENT specialist once and get it examined if symptoms keeps on persisting. Apply humidifiers in room. Do warm saline gargles and get complete examination of blood count along with swab and sputum test. Start treatment after proper prescription.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
