What Causes Pain And Swelling On The Bottom Left Of Rib?

Hi I have swelling and pain on the bottom And under my left rib... I have bad it for 6 months I have been to the doctors 2 Times for it no one seems to know what it is ... I had blood test done that showed no signs of infection.. Any idea what this could be the swelling and pain will not go away and I m getting worried please help!

Hello dear,
If there is swelling that cause pain,it is usually a soft tissue infection,and responds to antibiotics and analgesics.If not,we can do some investigations like imaging studies,biopsy etc depending on the local examination findings to confirm the diagnosis.This can resolve the issue.
