What Causes Pain And Tenderness In The Leg After An Injury?
I dropped a large case of paper, approximately 60 lbs on my thigh. I was unloading it from my vehicle and it fell out of my car at about 3ft high and hit my upper thigh. My leg is extremely tender to the touch, it hurts to bear weight, if I sit and it has too much pressure it causes pain as well. There is no bruising. Is this something that I should see a doctor about?
Hi.. Welcome to HCM. Though the bruising may not be visible now,it is the result of direct blunt trauma that makes the area painful. If I were your treating doctor I recommend, -Visit to orthopaedician/general is necessary. This is because you are unable bear weight. So clinical examination by expert will be necessary. -Take analgesics like ibuprofen or naproxen twice a day. -Local ice pack application for 15-20 minutes,3-4 times a day. -Have adequate rest. Hope this solves your query.
