What Causes Pain And Tight Sensation In The Feet?

Hi Doctor, In the past I have had about 4 gout attacks coupled with bunion. For the past five years Ihave not had an attack, but I did so a bunion surgery 2years ago. 8 days ago I wore a slightly tight shoes and stood up for a few hours. My feet hurt BADLY when I got home. Since then I have pain in the big toe joint. It is not the intense pain I use to feel when I had the gout attacks. I am wondering if it is a bunion attack or gout. What home remedy can I use to help the pain . Sometimes I feel like the pain is gone, but when I move about I feel the pain.

Hi,

It does not seem the attack of gout. I feel that most probably it may be arthritis induced by compression by by fitting shoes. You may take Etocoxib tablet daily for few days. Hot fomentation would also improve the condition. Avoid fitting shoes.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
