What Causes Pain And Tight Sensation In The Upper Back?

It started as just upper back tightness and pain since I have a child I assumed it was normal however a few days later The pain moved to just the right side of my upper back then the pain felt like a small dog chain was in-beaded in my skin tho I had no marks. I don t feel the in-beaded pain no more but the upper right side of my back still hurts and the skin is numb. I have seen a doctor my lab works seemed normal. What possablites do you think is wrong with me?

in form of some stretch or sprain which is manifesting symptoms .
