Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
The back of my head feels tight and hurts every time I breathe, almost as if you were sucking really hard on a straw and it just constricted on itself. It all started when I sucked in my stomach one day for about 1-2 hours and the pain in my head has never gone away. It has been about 3 months now and I suffer from headaches everyday. It has gotten worse to the point that I feel dizzy all the time and I have developed pain on the left side of my head next to the ear. My stomach is also bloated everyday. I think it is from my stomach now subconsciously sucking itself in all the time. I m almost certain this all has something to do with my breathing. Can somebody please help?
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
Thee symptoms seem to be related to occipital neuralgia. Occipital neuralgia is most commonly caused by pinched nerves in the root of a person's neck. I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the pain . I also suggest physical therapy and massage.
Hope my answer was helpful.
