Hi,

Chest pain is a common presentation in the emergency department. Chest pain could result from a variety of causes ranging from relatively benign muscular pain to emergency condition. Your husband symptom with chest tightness, the first thing I may think of is a heart attack. Certainly, chest pain is not something to ignore. Chest pain may also be caused by problems in the lungs, esophagus, muscles, ribs, or nerves. Some of these conditions are serious and life-threatening.

He has no injury but he has been working hard as construction and heavy working make me suspect that he also could have pain from the muscle-skeletal he can try topical pain killer or oral pain medicine.

But because he also has rash blister-like, make me think about Herpes zoster (singles) is often associated with severe pain which can precede skin eruptions for up to a few days. The most common site of involvement followed by a trigeminal, cervical neck), lower back, and sacral. He should go to see his doctor to take medicine early because if late it cannot help with medicine at all for herpes zoster.

Please send him to see his doctor for rule out a heart problem. His doctor will do ECG and other tests to find out his real diagnosis.

I hope I answer your question. Let me know if you have further discussion.
