What Causes Pain And Weakness In Knee While Climbing Stairs?

I recently started experiencing pain in my knee when going up stairs. When I try to bear weight on my right knee and go up the stairs, i feel pain and weakness in that knee. Squatting and lifting more than my body weight with both knees is fine, I only notice pain and weakness when going up the stairs.

Hi..
Thanks for the query..
Pain in the knee joint is symptom of arthritis. You have not mentioned your age, diabetic/non-diabetic or any other illness you have.. Osteoarthritis is very common after 50 years of age. It is due to degeneration of bone cartilage. I suggest you to mention the details and revert back..
Thank you
