What Causes Pain And Weakness In Ring Finger And Palm After An Injury To Left Hand?

I accidentally stabbed my self with a sewing pin in my left hand. It went in fairly deep and bled a little bit. Now, several hours later. I have a really painful aching and weakness in my ring finger and pinkie, Palm (where the pin prick was) and wrist. Is there anything I can do?

HI

Thanks for posting your query.

Your symptoms are due to nerve injury. You need to get tested with Nerve conduction study of Left hand to check for severity of nerve injury as treatment depends on the severity.

Till then you can use Capsule Pregabalin daily. Ask prescription for this from your doctor. Revert back with the test report.

Hope this information was useful to you.
Any clarifications feel free to ask.
