What Causes Pain And White Discoloration Inside Right Ankle Bone Post Surgery?
I had surgery on 11/3/15 on my right ankle/foot. This is the 4th surgery although most of the incisions were done on the outside of the right foot. I have noticed a white discoloration on the inside ankle bone though. There is a lot of pain when I m standing on it as well. The discoloration seems to be spreading it was at first approximately 50 cent size. Now it s grown to cover quite a bit of area. Why would this discoloration happen and is the pain related. My Ortho Dr feels I have a pinched nerve that is causing the pain and sometimes the give away of the foot.
