What Causes Pain And Yellow Spots On The Lips After An Injury?
I bit my lip three days ago about 3x once in a different spot and twice in the same spot. It still hurts and its like two whitish yellowish spots on my lip now. I tried putting ice on it but i can't leave it on all day. What else should I use ? Should I go to the doctor ?
As per your complain yellow and whitish spots at the point of lip biting can be due to infection at the bite site and leading to formation of pustules..
You should start apply antiseptic ointment over the spots and if there is pain you can apply numbing gel along with it.. You can take anti inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen.. You can also continue doing cool compresses 3 to 4 times a day..
In case if does not improve consult an Oral Physician and he can advise you a course of antibiotics and painkillers for relief along with topical antiseptic ointment..
Hope this helps..
Regards.
