Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Patient had an toradol injection 1-1/2 months ago and has pain at the injection site (left anterior Deltoid) after 20 push ups, Pt, is 135 lbs male. What could be the differential diagnosis:I was thinking possible deltoid bursitis, Nurse could have injured the bone, or injected the nerve in that area.
Pain at the injection is usually a common side effect of the injection. I suggest you to use cold compresses, and take anti inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen three times a day. The symptoms will go away on its own. If the symptoms continue you should visit your doctor for further evaluation.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
