What Causes Pain Around The Eye Socket With Dizziness?

My 9 year old grand daughter s left eye has been gradually aching (3+ days) and tender to the touch. It is not the eyeball, but under and over the eye socket. She touches to the side of her bridge under the eye lid. She says it hurts in a achy way. She says not only does it hurt, but makes her dizzy. She can see and the eyes seem to track normally.

It seems that she has infection in her eyes that's why she is feeling discomfort and irritated. Repeated touch by finger may aggravate the infection.
Suggest you to wash her eye by clean water and soak it properly by clean cloth.
do not touch by finger or bare hand.
Visit to your ophthalmologist for his opinion and apply eye drop as suggested.
