What Causes Pain Around The Rib Cage After A Miscarriage?

Hi there. My friend who does not have Internet suffered a miscarriage nine days ago. The bleeding stopped yesterday but has a resume today very heavily. She has pain on the right side of her back into a rib cage and around the right side of her abdomen. Should she go back into the doctor that s how we want to know there. Hi I think she should consult her doctor. Ultrasound might be needed to confirm if abortion is complete or not. If there are any retained products of pregnancy, she may need a surgical evacuation. Hope it helps.
