What Causes Pain Around The Septum After A Nose Injury?
My dog was running to get onto my bed and I was bent over. He hit my nose with his head. Immediately my eyes started watering and my nose was running. It s been 7.5 hours and I m still in pain. It hurts arpund the septum area and it hurts when I move my nose from sisde to side, up, and when I stick my fingers into my nose and pinch. Is it something I have to go to a hospital for?

As far as the pain in the nose following trauma is concerned, it can be because of the impact of secondary to nasal bone fracture. So you need to consult an oral physician and get it evaluated. You need to get a radiograph like lateral cephalograph or Cone beam computed tomography to confirm the diagnosis. Once the diagnosis is confirmed, we can treat accordingly either with analgesics or splints.
