What Causes Pain Around The Waist After A Spinal Fusion Surgery?
I had spinal fusion in November and am having hip replacement in June. I am having pain at my waistline in the back on the same side as my operation was and will be. Any ideas if this pain is related to the hip or the back? I am doing arthritis therapy in a warm water pool. Could I be doing something there to cause this new pain? Thanks
My opinion is pain the is related to back as it is occurring over waist line and is due to the natural healing process of spinal fusion . if it is severe take a short course of pain killer (i.e tab . ultracet twice daily after food for 5 days ) and apply ointment volini gel at pain site and take rest during this period .usually warm water therapy doesn't lead to pain . if still pain persists after taking the medication . then kindly share your radiology reports (i.e x-rays , MRI etc ) , blood investigtions if any for indepth analysis of the condition .
