Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Pain At Belly Area For Women With History Of Abortion?
I have had an abortion 7weeks ago, and currently feeling pain around my belly button which comes and goes as well as slight pain on the right side of my belly. I took the pregnancy test after 6weeks and it was a negative,as well as went for my follow up treatment, both was a negative outcome of a pregnancy. What does this mean. Did the surgery go successfully? And an I in any form of risk.
There may be many causes but does not look serious. Pain may be caused by gut problems like trapped gas , but important is to rule out some infection in the bladder or uterus that may also cause pain in the tummy.
This is specially true if you have fever or frequent urination. So you don't need to worry but it's good to get a urine test done to rule out infection.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Mahboob Ur Rahman , General & Family Physician
