Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a brother who is undiagnosed as of yet though going to many doctors. One spine dr did say to come back after seeing a vascular specialist and a rheumatologist. The vascular specialist found nothing and we are waiting for a rheumatology appt (very hard to come by here). He does have some arthritis in his neck with pain in the backs of his legs when only walking across the street. He has been dealing with this for a couple of yrs now but now his tongue looks to be curling and/or swelling and he has a rash that will not go away. The dermatologist keeps giving him a steroid cream. this is doing nothing. Can you tell us some possibilities and perhaps how to proceed to get a diagnosis? He now looks like an old man humped over when he walks. He seems to me to have some sort of a major disorder.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, if this is the joints pain of diffuse type and more on upper side of neck and shoulder so it is advisable to get done the MRI test and other test of blood to rule out the collagen disease, some time it might be nonspecific one, but it can be well managed with "Tab Diclofenac 50 mg once in day, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
