What Causes Pain Behind Neck And Shoulder Along With Heartburn Sensation?

yes please. right now i am experiencing pain behind my neck and left shoulder and its like something stuck in my throat, it happened last feb i went to er the test went normal i don t have heart problem, but i am worried and i have heartburn sensation

Hi,

Noted your history about having heartburn and also have pain behind neck and left shoulder and feeling like something stuck in throat, happened in past and cardiac check up was normal.
The probable causes can be:
GERD that is gastro-esophageal reflux disease.
Cardiac problems.
Gallbladder disease with or without stones giving referred pain.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Consult your Doctor to find the clinical possibility and get referral for Specialist's opinions and investigations to support.
Upper GI Endoscopy for GERD and esophagitis related causes.
Ultrasound for gallbladder and liver related problems.
Full Cardiac check up to rule out any heart related problems.
Take a PPI like Omeprazole.
Relevant tests of blood as would suggested.
All these will give the exact diagnosis so that a specific treatment an be done for permanent relief.
