What Causes Pain Behind The Bottom Rib?

I have a sharp pain on my right side. Feels like it is just behind the bottom rib half way between my center and my right side. Some days have extreme pain while others aren t too bad. Seems to get worse as the day goes on as well. No pain when lying down

I would suggest you to visit your physician.
Take his opinion and you may also be required some investigation to make clear picture of disease.
