Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Pain Behind The Head On The Right Side?
My blood pressure is 171/108 pulse 67. The back right side of my head has been hurting for a week now. Since the head ache started I have occasional tingling feeling on the entire left side of my body. The head ache has been mild today. Any thoughts? Thanks.
Listening to your symptoms your symptoms are related to high blood pressure. The headache comes as a result of high blood pressure. It is very high and needs treatment immediately.
A doctor should do a Furosemid injection to you and put Nifedipine sublingual to you immediately to lower this high blood pressure. Also you should have everyday treatment to lower blood pressure. You can use either diuretics or beta blockers as first line treatment of hypertension.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka,
