Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a throbbing pain located on the left lower back of my head. It is not a continuous throb, but off and on throughout the day/night. It has been radiating to my left ear, temporal area. I went to the walk-in clinic & e.r. over the week end. They tested me for temporal arteritis that was negative. So they gave me order for cyclopenzaprine. which made me sleep but did not solve the problem. I am using1000mg Tylenol every 6 hours. Can you tell me what may be causing the throbbing?
As you mentioned you have problem of throbbing headache that may be because of sinus problem or other reasons. Consult a neurologist for further diagnosis. Ct scan and MRI can done for diagnosis. Detail history and investigation help in diagnosis. Start a treatment as per reason behind it..
